The extension stores your session data (tab titles and URLs) locally using the Chrome chrome.storage.local API.

The extension requests the following Chrome permissions:

tabs – to read the URLs and titles of your currently open tabs when you choose to save a session.
storage – to save your sessions locally in Chrome storage.

These permissions are only used for the functionality of the extension and are not used to collect or share user data.

We do not:

Collect, share, or sell any user data.
Use analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party cookies.
Send your browsing data or tab information outside your local device.

Your data remains completely private and under your control at all times.

4. Data Retention

All saved sessions are stored locally in your browser.
If you uninstall the extension or clear Chrome’s storage, your saved data will be permanently deleted from your device.

You can also manually delete any session from within the extension interface at any time.

5. Third-Party Services

Tab Saver does not use any third-party APIs, analytics tools, or external databases.
All operations occur entirely within your browser environment.

While no software is 100% secure, Tab Saver follows best practices by:

Using Chrome’s built-in secure storage mechanisms.
Avoiding unnecessary permissions or background scripts.
Keeping all code client-side and transparent for public review.
